Run wrist bands will be provided on the day of the run from 4h30.
The 3rd edition of the MTG 60km Long Run will once again take place on the challenging hilly routes of South of Johannesburg, winding through the iconic climbs of the renowned Jackie Gibson Marathon and the surrounding Glenvista hills. With a total elevation gain of 974m for the 60km route, 853m for the 50km, and 698m for the 40km, this run offers the perfect test of endurance. The demanding ascents make it an excellent training opportunity for the Comrades Marathon.
Water points will be stationed approximately every 5km, providing runners with water, Coke, Energade, Mageu, and bananas. A post-run meal will also be available to help participants refuel after the race.
