Every year we host the Hemelrood Easter Hunt at Jakkalsvlei to raise fund for the Herbertsdale school bus that takes the kids to and from school each day, in Mossel Bay.

The event will be on 20 April 2025 from 10:00 to 16:00 at the Jakkalsvlei Wijnhuis restaurant. Each entrant will receive a pair of bunny ears before entering the vineyard block to go in search of Jakkalsvlei corks, each entrant needs to find 5 corks to claim their Easter parcel. The parcel includes treats and activities for the kids.

Participants younger than 12 years of age, please need to be accompanied by an adult or parent. All ages are welcome

It is a great family event and day to celebrate Easter Sunday, and if you want to have a seat at the restaurant, please note that a reservation is mandatory, otherwise the self-service kitchen and take away area on the lawn will be open during Easter weekend, this works on a first come basis.
