Come and enjoy the breathtaking views over the dam, the fresh air, different bird species, the beauty of nature and new friendships on ths 8km route at the Garden Route Dam!

Difficulty is rated 3/10 looking at elevation and you have to be able to cover the said distance.

???‍♀️??? List of compulsary items required for all our hikes: 

? Suitable lightweight hydration-/backpack/hip pouch 

? Hydration/bottled water

? Sunscreen

? Hat/head gear

? Suitable non-slip shoes (Off road shoes. Normal sneakers/road running shoes are NOT suitable) 

? Snacks

? Lightweight windproof jacket

? Fleece/midlayer depending the weather

? Your own emergency items, such as bandage, small petroleum jelly, blister plasters, etc

✨ Optional items:

Fingerless gloves, hiking poles, beanie, buffs, sunglasses.

♡ Meet close to the dam, around 7h45: Take the no-name gravel road towards the Garden Route Dam, close to the corners of Arthur Bleksley and Stander Streets, Eden, George. Turn into the gravel road and follow the road, pass te security kiosk for a few hundred meters and find a parking in a shady area as soon as you can see the dam.
