Wine Adventure Trail Run

Presented by Sportsmans Warehouse

Not often you get to run the slopes of Klapmutskop on Dirtopia singletrack, that are opened especially for the event. And there will be Warwick white and red wine to taste at the refreshment station with a stunning view of Simonsberg.

Autumn brings mild weather and colourful wine land scenery! Expect proper trail running on both routes, but kids are welcome on the short route and walkers are also allowed.

DATE: 6 April 2025

VENUE: Warwick Wine Estate, on R44 about 12 km from Stellenbosch 

Registration from 07h45

START TIMES:

6.25km: 08h45 and 10.5km: 08h30

PRIZEGIVING & LUCKY DRAW: 10h30 (provisional time)

COST: Pre entries (closing date: 3 April)

6.25km – R155, 10.5km – R180

 All PRE-ENTRANTS who are under 18 years of age will pay only R65 entry fee! Late entries who are under 18 will pay the normal late entry fee.

TIMING: Timing will be done with Amarider Trail Tags.  No tag, no time:  available for rent for R25 on the day or buy a permanent one for R100. Live timing for pre-entries.

ROUTE DESCRIPTIONS: The routes will climb towards neighbouring farm, Le Bonheur on fun singletrack sections and some jeeptrack through the vineyards, circle back to the start/finish venue. Trails & views to remember! Taste some wine on this adventure…   

GENERAL INFO: Coffee will be available from early morning.. The refreshment station will have Powerade, wine tasting (!), fruit and drinks at the finish for all!  A medal to all finishers, while massages are available from Ultimate Performance Therapy. There is a kids play area, and runners can relax on the lawn after the run. Lucky draws up for grabs from FALKE socks as well as wine from Warwick. Top three winners M/F in each distance receive vouchers from Sportsmans Warehouse.
