The need is massive, and our goal is to provide accommodation, essential care, material support, and frail care facilities for the elderly who have nowhere else to turn.  You can be part of the change.

Running and cycling trail. Some stages will be through game camps with spectacular scenery of the Johannesburg skyline in the distance.

10km - Entry Fee: R 100 Podium winners (exclusive for Primary School entrants) 

20km - Entry Fee: R150 Podium winners (exclusive for High School entrants)

30km - Entry Fee: R 200 

60km - Entry Fee: R 300

Event Schedule:

• Race Number & Goody Bag Collection - 30 May 2025 from 13:00 till 18:00 at RVLTN, 14 Voortrekker street, Heidelberg GP or @Event on 31 May 2024 from 6am. Late entries also available here.
• Late Entries close 20 min before your Race Start
• Late Entries are welcome, admin fee of R50 per late entry.

• Race Briefing – 10min before your Race Start
• MTB 60 km Race Start - 08:00am
• MTB 30 km Race Start – 08:30am
• MTB 20 km Race Start – 08:50am
• MTB 10 km Race Start – 09:00am
• MTB  5 km Race Start – 09:20am
• X Country 10km Race Start – 09:10am
• X Country 5km Race Start – 09:20am
• Prize Giving – between 11:00 - 13:00pm

Important:

• If you are not registered within the allocated time frame for Registration, you will not be allowed to race.  
• No Helmet no Ride
• Race briefing is important and should be respected and adhered to.
• Tandems as well as E-Bike are welcome.
• No refunds will be allowed.  If you can't participate in the event you agree to donate your entry to the event.
• Weather is out of our control and in the case of the event being affected by bad weather, the necessary calls will be made to ensure the safety of all riders.
• All routes are within the boundaries of the Poortjie farm venue with marshals and volunteers on the routes to ensure a safe cycling and running environment for all participants.

5km – enjoy the flat, scenic route with your family and friends with beautiful views of the farming environment. 

10 km - expect an easy and enjoyable ride around the farm fields of the Poortjie Farm venue on non-technical jeep and single tracks. 

20km – for an easier and more relaxed ride with beautiful scenery and minimum elevations, enter the 20km event.

30 km - a fast and flat start on wide open farm roads after which riders can expect undulating terrain with short punchy single-track climbs taking you into the wildlife camp with springbok, ostrich and blesbok roaming on the horizon.

60 km – sharing the start of the 30km route, this fast start on an open farm roads & jeep tracks lead riders into the wildlife camp to enjoy the wildlife and scenery of the Johannesburg skyline in the distance again exit onto the flat fast flowing roads leading past a picturesque poplar bush and through the wattle bush where rustic mining buildings are still visible from the golden mining era of the area. 

Enjoy the last 15 - 20 km of single track & farm roads before racing back to the finish line!?
