Tierkop Hut from the Garden Route dam is a 10km Out&back route with slightly more than 400m elevation. Difficulty is rated 5/10, you have to be reasonably fit and able to cover the distance. We'll enjoy our picnic at the Tierkop Hut. You can order your pucnic under 'Merchandise' on the system, or bring your own. We'll then move clockwise around Tierkop Peak in a circular route to return back to our vehicles at the start.

? Fleece/midlayer depending the weather

? Your own emergency items, such as bandage, small petroleum jelly, blister plasters, etc

♡ Meet close to the dam: Take the no-name gravel road towards the Garden Route Dam, close to the corners of Arthur Bleksley and Stander Streets, Eden, George. Turn into the gravel road and follow the road, pass te security kiosk for a few hundred meters and find a parking in a shady area as soon as you can see the dam.
