As the only Triathlon South Africa sanctioned race in the Limpopo province, the event’s popularity has grown each year since its inception in 2013. It gives beginners and young enthusiasts, families and more seasoned athletes an opportunity to experience a multi-disciplinary event in a fun, scenic environment.
Event 1: The Stanfordian (18 years of age on 31 December 2025)

MTB 26km
Trail Run 10km
Individual men R350 excl TSA license
Individual women R350 excl TSA license
Triathlon SA Day License (mandatory for all athletes who are not members of TSA R135)
Event 2: The Wik (minimum 16years on 31 December 2025 or 12 years if participating in a team of 3. One person swims, one mtb, one runs)
Swim 500m excl TSA License
MTB 15km excl TSA License
Trail Run 5km excl TSA License
Triathlon SA Day License (mandatory for all athletes who are not members of TSA R55)

Teams (teams must contain no less than 3 athletes)
- Open Men R450 per team

This event supports team entries for certain classes, but teams must consist of 3 participants per team.
