Welcome to the Gravel Rush! Get ready for an extraordinary adventure as you race from Venterskroon to Kroonstad and back. The Gravel Rush is an ultra-endurance gravel cycling race that will push your limits and take you through some of the most beautiful and challenging terrains in the Free State. With options for solo riders and 2-man relay teams, this race promises excitement, strategy, and unforgettable memories.

3. 300 km Solo Challenge
Route: Venterskroon Inn to Kroonstad and back.
Terrain:Diverse landscapes including gravel roads, rocky paths, and scenic farmlands.
Highlights:
Riverbanks of the Vaal: Enjoy the tranquil beauty of riding alongside the Vaal River.
Rolling Hills: Gentle climbs and descents.
Gravel Trails: Long stretches of gravel roads.
Cut-off Time: 24 hours
4. 300 km 2-Man Relay Event
Route: Venterskroon to Kroonstad and back.
Stage 1: 137km - Venterkroon to Boskoppie Lion and Tiger Reserve.
Stage 2: 168km - Boskoppie Lion and Tiger Reserve to Venterkroon Inn.
Terrain: Diverse landscapes including gravel roads, rocky paths, and scenic farmlands.
Highlights:
Riverbanks of the Vaal: Share the scenic river route with your teammate.
Team Strategy: Work together to tackle the course.
Relay Points: Designated spot at Boskoppie Lion and Tiger Reserve for team members to switch.
Cut-off Time: 20 hours
Facilities and Support:
Water Stations: Every 50-60km
Compulsory Gear: Camel bag of at least 1,5L & Fully loaded cell phone
Medical Support: On-site medical team ready for emergencies
Technical Support: Mobile bike repair units at Boskoppie Lion and Tiger Reserve
Refreshments: Food and drink stations at the start/finish area
