RUN THE VINES 2025 SERIES PRESENTED BY FIRST ASCENT

Join us on the 12th of April 2025 for the 4th event of the Run The Vines 2025 Series.

De Wet Cellar was founded on 15 April 1946 and is the oldest cellar in the Worcester area.

Originally, it produced about 3 000 tons of gapes annually, but over the years it has developed into a quality cellar processing around 19 000 tons annually. The main focus of De Wet Cellar is to over deliver on quality, thus creating a product that markets itself.

The variety of terroirs in the De Wet-Overhex-Nuy-area where De Wet Cellar’s grapes are grown, secures the style of wine De Wet Cellar is known for.

This distance can change depending on the farm. All kids must be accompanied by a parent. The aim of the 3km is to introduce kids to trail running and a healthy lifestyle, while spending great time with family and friends.

Adult accompanying a child on 3km  -  R120 

5km Run The Vines  -  R150  - Start: 8:00
10km Run The Vines - R190 - Start: 7:45
17km Run The Vines - R220 - Start: 7:15

Because we are running on working farms the promoted distances might not be exact. It might be a little longer or shorter. I will do my best to have it as close to the promoted distance as possible.

Timing is done by BoutTime. You must collect your timing tag at registration. Registration is always open one-hour before the start of the 17km distance. You can buy a permanent tag for R100 that can be used at all events timed with BoutTime. Live results and sms with your results and time included.

R50 Late entry fee.

All unpaid entries will be removed after 3 days.

Waterpoints will be available. It is however always advised to be self-sufficient when it comes to hydration when you run.

Hydration will be available at the waterpoints. Sorry. No food or sweeties. We want you to support the farm and vendors after your run.

Medals for all finishers.

Please do not leave any valuables in your car. You can leave it at registration.
