The Sandy Paws Full Moon Walk & Run is part of the 18th annual Summer Series which takes place between 15 December and 3 January in St Francis Bay and Cape St Francis.   

The pet friendly bring-your-dog 5km run or walk starts and finishes at the Cape St Francis beach entrance in Seal Point Boulevard.  All participants are required to bring headlamps.  There will be a few water points for the dogs and for all participants at the finish.

The first 100 dogs that are entered before 13 December will receive a goody bag.  The goody bags can be collected on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 December from the Sandy Paws Pet Shop in the Village Square Building, St Francis Drive.  All dogs must be on leashes, and all dog poop must be picked up.  A portion of the proceeds of the Sandy Paws Full Moon Walk will go to St Francis Tourism.  There will be prizes for the best dressed dog, the best owner/dog duo and the best behaved dog.  Online entries will also go into a lucky draw to win 4 beer tasting vouchers from St Francis Brewing Cpy.

Take note:

- a series entry of R800 will give you individual access to all 10 events.

-  there will be a short prize giving and the top 3 male and females will receive medals.  Full results will be announced live on social media and posted a few hours after the event;

- series entrants will get a permanent number so you can just arrive 15 minutes before starting time;
