Dragonfly Tri
The Women's Trail Run is a women's only trail run in women's month taking place in the famous Elgin Grabouw valley that is known for its orchards, vineyards and undulating countryside. You are in the heart of the Cape Floral Kingdom with the Kogelberg and Groenland Mountains creating an amphitheatre that embraces the experience in nature for which your travel-heart is longing.
Venue
Our host is the amazing Elgin Grabouw Country Club. The Elgin Grabouw Country Club boasts breathtaking and spectacular views of the surrounding Hottentots Holland, Nuweberg and Groenland mountains. The drive from Cape Town or Worcester takes approximately 60 minutes whilst the trip from Somerset West, Gordon’s Bay and Hermanus will take approximately 35 minutes.
Routes:
Long Route: 21km Waterfall Run – 500m elevation
A combination of the Elgin Valley and Grabouw Forest Trails with the potential of a refreshing dip in the Giant's wash basin.
Short Route: 12km Wesselsgat Run – 300m elevation
A lovely meander through fynbos and around the dam with plenty of views to soak up.
Early Bird Entries:
Early Bird entries close on at midnight on 15 June. Don't delay, enter early and save!
Standard entries close at midnights on 20 July.
FOMO entries do not qualify for medals and podium prizes. No late entries on race day.

Prize Giving:
Podium presentations will take place once all categories have finished.
In addition to podium prizes, we keep the best prizes for the lucky draw boasting a prize purse of R40 000!
Please note, you have to be at prize giving to collect your podium prize or lucky draw prize. If you are not at prize giving you forfeit your prize.
Timing:
The event will be timed using timing tags. Please hand your board in at the finish so you can be marked off as off the trail. Please check in at the finish should you pull out of the race for any reason so you could be accounted for and not cause unnecessary resources to find you.
