The Tiletoria Bikes2Blossoms powered by Peregrine and Trail's End takes place in the famous Elgin Grabouw valley that is known for its orchards, vineyards and undulating countryside. You are in the heart of the Cape Floral Kingdom and October marks the beginning of blossom season in the Elgin Grabouw valley where the apple and pear orchards show off their colours.

The Elgin Valley Trails which includes a combination of the exhilarating single trails on Oak Valley and the Grabouw Forest Trails.

Our hosts are the amazing Elgin Grabouw Country Club, Peregrine Farmstall and Trail's End. Book your event accommodation at Trail's End and by showing your event entry you qualify for discount. Peregrine Farmstall will again run the waterpoint on the long routes and keep you fueled for the long haul!



The Elgin Grabouw Country Club boasts breathtaking and spectacular views of the surrounding Hottentots Holland, Nuweberg and Groenland mountains. The drive from Cape Town or Worcester takes approximately 60 minutes whilst the trip from Somerset West, Gordon’s Bay and Hermanus will take approximately 35 minutes.


Routes:

Long Route: 55km MTB – 1268m elevation

A combination of the Elgin Valley and Grabouw Forest Trails and an exhilarating finish on Oak Valley single tracks. This is ideal for fit riders with intermediate technical skills due to the elevation. The average rider will take 4 hours to complete.

Medium Route: 38km MTB – 936m elevation

The best of The Elgin Valley Trails, finishing off with brand-new single track addition. This is ideal for the average rider looking for some fun on the trails. This is not for beginners and will take the average rider 3 hours to complete.

Short Route: 25km MTB – 584m elevation

The best of The Elgin Valley Trails, finishing off with brand-new single track addition. This is ideal for the average rider looking for some fun on the trails. This is not for beginners and will take the average rider 2 hours to complete.


Unpaid entries will automatically be deleted after 2 days. Don't delay.

Prize Giving:

Podium presentations will take place once all categories have finished.

In addition to podium prizes, we keep the best prizes for the lucky draw boasting a prize purse of R40 000! 

Please note, you have to be at prize giving to collect your podium prize or lucky draw prize. If you are not at prize giving you forfeit your prize.


Timing:

The event will be timed using timing boards. Please hand your board in at the finish so you can be marked off as off the trail. Please check in at the finish should you pull out of the race for any reason so you could be accounted for and not cause unnecessary resources to find you.


Participant & Spectator Code of Conduct:

To ensure a positive experience for all participants, spectators, and staff, everyone are expected to uphold the highest standards of sportsmanship throughout the event. By registering, you agree to the following:

1. Respect for All

  • Treat fellow participants, volunteers, officials, and spectators with courtesy and respect at all times.
  • Verbal abuse, aggression, threats, or discriminatory language or behavior of any kind will not be tolerated.

2. Fair Play

  • Compete with integrity and honesty. No cutting of the course, drafting in no-draft zones (if applicable), or using unfair advantages.
  • Follow the course as marked and comply with the instructions of marshals and officials.

3. Self-Control

  • Frustrations or disagreements must be handled calmly. Unsportsmanlike behavior, such as throwing equipment, yelling at officials, or sulking in protest, is unacceptable.
  • If you have a complaint or concern, report it respectfully to event staff after the event.

4. Support Others

  • Offer encouragement to fellow participants where appropriate, especially in moments of struggle.
  • In case of an emergency, stop and assist another athlete if it is safe to do so, and report it to the nearest marshal.

5. Equipment Responsibility

  • Treat all event equipment (e.g., timing chips, race bibs, signage) with care. Damaged or unreturned items may incur a replacement fee.
  • Intentionally damaging or discarding equipment is considered a breach of conduct.

6. Obey Rules & Officials

  • Follow all event rules as well as instructions from race officials and marshals.
  • Any disputes or appeals must be submitted through the proper channels in a calm and respectful manner.

7. Zero Tolerance for Cheating

  • Any form of cheating, including course-cutting, outside assistance, or altering timing devices, will result in disqualification and possible bans from future events.

8. Environmental Respect

  • Do not litter on the course. Use designated disposal zones.
  • Respect the natural environment and local communities hosting the event.

Consequences for Breach of Conduct

Violations of this code may result in penalties including time penalties, disqualification, removal from the event, forfeiture of prizes, or bans from future events — depending on the severity.


Refund Policy:

Full refund up to 14 days prior to race

50% refund from 14 to 7 days prior to race

0% in last 7 days prior to race
