The Perdekop hiking trail and nature Walk, or Horse's head in English, is an easy leisurely walk along flowers, mushrooms and millipedes, through the indigenous Harkerville forest with gentle forest stream falling into a pool, a great picnic spot halfway along the route. Opt in for a picnic hamper under 'Merchandise' on the entry system which will be slackpacked for you to the picnic area!

Permits (R50) obtainable from the SAN Parks office at the start of the trail.

? Hat/head gear

? Suitable non-slip shoes

? Snacks

? Lightweight windproof jacket

? Fleece/midlayer depending the weather

? Your own emergency items, such as bandage, small petroleum jelly, blister plasters, etc

Fingerless gloves, hiking poles, beanie, buffs, sunglasses.

We'll meet at the dedicated visitor's parking area for the Perdekop Trail at Sanparks Harkerville, around 7h45.
