The 15km trail from Jongensfontein tidal pool to Stilbaai is a beautiful coastal hike. The terrain varies between narrow trails through the dune scrub, boulder hopping, and soft sandy beaches. The trail takes us pass Flip se Baai, Koppiesbaai, Piet Rogsbaai, Knikkersdraai, Skulpiesbaai and along the Main Road, before we are back at our end point at the SPAR.

We meet at the Stilbaai SPAR Centre around 7h45, from where the shuttle will take the group through to Jongensfontein. (Book your bus ticket directly with Mariàn).

After the hike you are welcome to join the group for lunch at the Sterrehemel Coffee shop.

? Suitable non-slip shoes

? Lightweight windproof jacket

? Fleece/midlayer depending the weather

? Your own emergency items, such as bandage, small petroleum jelly, blister plasters, etc

Fingerless gloves, hiking poles, beanie, buffs, sunglasses.

The hike starts at the Jongensfontein parking area, around 8h30.
