HIKE THE VINES SOCIAL HIKE @ Doolhof Wine Estates

The 11th Hike the Vines Social hike for 2024 is an opportunity not to be missed. Join us for a memorable experience on one of the Boland's most iconic Wine Estates - Doolhof.

From the Doolhof Cellar we will meander along the Kromme River and through Doolhof's perfectly kept vineyards and footpaths before heading onto the mountain slopes and some of the area's renowned trails to a viewpoint where we will enjoy our halfway stop and customary wine-tasting and refreshment stop. The route is not technical and we hope to keep a good pace so that we may enjoy some of the beautiful segments and views on offer along the planned route.

The HTV Social hikes are suitable for all ages, are family-friendly and require only moderate fitness and high enthusiasm. All hikers must be self-supported for the 3-4 hour hike of 10km. Please remember your cup/glass and snacks.

What to bring

• Hydration and snacks for the walk.
• Hiking shoes and appropriate apparel to hike with.
• Wine/hiking cup
• It's still on the cusp of winter so watch the weather and come prepared.
