HIKE THE VINES SOCIAL HIKE @ Olsen Private Vineyards

The 8th edition of Hike the Vines' social hikes in collaboration with Run the Vines takes place at the picturesque Olsen Private vineyards at the foot of the Groot Drakenstein mountain range.

The Olsen hike will take us from this boutique winery, through some of Olsen's award-winning vineyards and unto the protea and buchu-covered slopes below the Du Toits kloof pass. Before heading back to the winery, we will stop for our customary wine tasting and snacks at one of the crystal clear farm dams.

Please order your Olsen award-winning wine when you book your place on the hike.

The HTV Social hikes are suitable for all ages, are family-friendly and require only moderate fitness and high enthusiasm. All hikers must be self-supported for the 3 to 5-hour hike of 7 to 10km. Please remember your cup/glass and snacks.

• It's still on the cusp of winter so watch the weather and come prepared.
