Did you know that Spring really only starts at Spring equinox (Sept 22nd) and yes, it’s a long weekend; it’s Braai Day i.e. Heritage Day 😊 The Sportmans Warehouse series events offers value to participants, while making memories in the Stellenbosch wine lands.
Run on amazing trails in the Knorhoek valley, where Dirtopia’s singletrack will give you a special nature experience. Enjoy the hospitality of Knorhoek Wine Estate. The setting of the start/finish has beautiful lawns, where you can enjoy boerewors rolls, beer & wine, while before & after prizegiving & lucky draws.

DISTANCES & START TIMES: 6km: 08h30 & 11km: 08h15
COST: Pre-entries (closing online Sat 22 Sept midnight)
6km – R150 and 11km – R180 Kids under the age of 18 pay only R60 pre-entry.

Late entries will be taken on event day at an additional fee. NB: Late entry kids under 18 pay the normal late entry fee.
Timing by Amarider Trail Tag – available for rent (R20) or to buy (R100).
ROUTE DESCRIPTIONS:
Don’t miss singletrack heaven in the forest on the slopes of Simonsberg! These are not easy routes, but SO worth it! Beautiful singletrack sections not normally open to the public.

GENERAL INFO:
Pre-entries will get the discount. Medal to all finishers! A refreshment station on both routes will have Powerade, fruit and Coke at the finish for all! Recovery massages available. Wines from Knorhoek, Sportsmans Warehouse vouchers and FALKE prizes for the winners are the top three male & females of each distance, as well as in the lucky draw. There will be coffee, cold drinks and food for sale. Relax on the lawn with some wine or beer while waiting for the lucky draws!
