Join us for our annual charity Ride to Darling 

This year we will ride in aid of the Tiny Owls Baby Home.

Tiny Owls Baby Home in Durbanville is an NPO that offers temporary safety care to abandoned and relinquished babies awaiting adoption. They have 24/7 nursing staff on hand and as the babies are from new born to 6 months old, also have lots of medical expenses.

The Ride:

We will start our ride at the Chris Willemse Cycles shop in Durbanville and head towards Malmesbury and end at Darling Brew in Darling. There will be 3 groups of different speeds with a back-up vehicle behind the slowest rider of the slow group and slowest rider of the medium group.

Start Venue:

Chris Willemse Cycles, Shop 12C, Willowbridge North, Carl Cronje Drive, Bellville Park 

End Venue:

Darling Brew, Darling

Registration Venue & Date:

Saturday 21 September from 7:00 at Chris Willemse Cycles

Ride Start Times: 

8:00 - Slow Group (21 - 23 km/h)

8:10 - Medium Group (23 - 26 km/h)

8:20 - Fast Group (+26 km/h)

There will be a back-up vehicle with the medium and slow groups. If you need support, just wait for the next vehicle.

Waterpoint/Refreshment Stops:

Stop 1: 22km at corner of Adderley Road and Philadelphia Road

Stop 2: 44km at corner of Old Malmesbury Road and Olyvenhoek Mine

Stop 3: 70km on R315 at Darling Cellars gate just after train tracks 

Stop 4: 85km at Darling Brew

Travel back to start:

You need to organise your own lift back to the start. Transport bookings closed on Wednesday 18 September.
