It's the 12th edition of one of the best family fun and team building mountain bike events in South-Africa!
Participants camp at Van Gaalen Cheese Farm and for 24 hours ride either as individuals or in teams of 2, 4 or 6 - 8 riders. The individual or team that completes the greatest number of laps in their category will be the winner.
Those who are more into running than cycling can again enter the 12 Hour Trail RUN – walkers are also welcome!
Race Information: Come join one of the most interactive and social MTB events of the year! The 24 Hour @ Van Gaalen MTB race consists of a 12km lap. Riders compete around the clock to ride as many laps as possible within 24 hours (or alternatively within 12 hours). Whether you are an experienced rider or a novice, this event is designed to accommodate all with its social, flowing route!

How to Enter: Registration and Late Entries Open @ 10:00am Sat 28 September 2024
Facilities:
Free Camping facilities for all riders/runners (First come first serve) Water @ Transition Zone. Bathrooms and hot showers available for all participants. Charging Station for Lights and Phones etc. @ Transition Zone Food & Drinks available for purchase. Requirements: *Be self-sufficient (no electricity points in the Campsite) *Responsible for your own lighting for both your Bike and Campsite. *No open Fires please. Gas Braais are allowed.
This event supports team entries for certain classes. Team sizes range from 2 - 8 participants per team.
