HONDA ADVENTURE & DIRTBIKE FESTIVAL
Embark on an unforgettable adventure holiday with your family, meticulously planned with fun-filled activities and extreme thrills, exclusively available once a year! Join us for the first of its kind holiday experience, with your family or friends , exploring the Eastern Cape and Eastern Free State like never before!
HOLIDAY PROGRAM:
15 – 17 JUNE 2024: BLANCO GUEST FARM, TARKASTAD
Event Schedule
15th June, Saturday:
- 10:00: Registration Opens (early arrivals on Friday are welcome to check in as they arrive).
- 12:30 - 14:00: Lunch
- 14:00 - 17:00: Funduro and Hard Enduro (15 -18 km loops, last loop cut-off at 16:30) Adventure Bike routes Available for spectators to reach the viewpoints.
- 19:00 - 20:30: Dinner
16th June, Sunday (Father’s Day):
- 07:30 - 09:00: Breakfast
- 09:00: Adventure Bike Drag Racing at the airstrip, followed by dirt bike drag racing.
- 09:45: 120 km Adventure and Dirt Bike Ride (fuel up before 09:00, soft drinks available halfway, return by 13:00 for lunch)
- 14:00 - 17:00: Funduro and Hard Enduro (16-20 km loops, last loop cut-off at 16:30)
- 19:00: Lucky Draws
- 19:30 - 21:00: Dinner
17th June, Monday:
- 07:30 - 09:00: Breakfast
- 09:00: Fun MTB Ride (33 km with adventure bikes)
- 11:00: Funduro and Hard Enduro (one loop at Blanco, one loop at the airstrip)
- 13:00: Lunch and Farewell
Every night, unwind with the best retro music around the fire.
IMPORTANT INFO:
- Advanced adventure bike riders can tackle the Funduro track, while beginners can explore safe jeep tracks and support dirt bike riders.
- Enjoy a coffee and cake in Tarkastad, or try golf, horseback riding, tennis, bowling, or pool.
- Extend your stay at Blanco to explore the surrounding areas.
- Remember to check in and out at registration for safety. Even short trips to refuel or grab a coffee need to be logged.
- You may bring your own alcoholic beverages.
- Day visitors, please inform Blanco staff at the restaurant about your meal bookings.
- No registration number on your bike means no riding allowed.

ADDITIONAL INFO:
- To ensure everyone has the best experience possible, we kindly request advance confirmation of attendance to cater for all participants. Each venue can accommodate a maximum of 150 riders.
- Enjoy live entertainment at Blanco on the 16th of June and at Happy Days on the 22nd of June.
- Feel free to bring your mountain bike or e-bike to explore numerous routes if you're not riding your motorcycle.
Join us in supporting local farm schools by bringing any unused school books, sports equipment, or old shoes to the event. A percentage of your entry fee will also contribute to this cause. LET'S RIDE FOR EDUCATION AND SPORT!
Lucky Draws: Exciting draws will be held on specific dates, with winners announced via live stream for those who cannot be at Blanco the on 17th June and Happy Days on the 22nd June. Prizes include a trip to the Honda Adventure & Dirt Bike festival in the Nuy Valley, with additional tokens awarded for participation in daily activities.
Holiday Adventure & Dirt bike Medals for all participating riders.

Important: Discounted accommodation rates apply only to riders staying for 2 days. Ensure to enter the festival first to qualify. Camping facilities available, with hot showers provided.

- Full board accommodation at R1,050.00 per person per night, including Lunch, Dinner, and Breakfast. Kids 12 and under stay at R750.00 per person per night for a minimum of 2 to 6 nights.
- Camping spots at R600.00 per person per night, including all 3 meals. Kids 12 and under stay at R450.00 per person per night, suitable for 1-night stays as well.
- To avail of these discounted rates, provide Blanco staff with your event entry.
- Blanco has reserved rooms for the Adventure & Dirt Bike Festival from 14th to 20th June, releasing rooms from 15th May. Book your accommodation promptly after entering. Rates are also applicable to family or spectator members.
- Private planes flying in must be arranged in advance; Blanco offers an 800m strip next to the lodge for landing.
- Blanco Guest Farm offers complimentary activities such as tennis, golf, soccer, fishing, and more with a minimum 2-night stay including meals.
- Horseback riding rates range from R120.00 for beginners to R180.00 for advanced riders.
