EASTER TRAIL RUN

End the long Easter weekend in the outdoors and perhaps you'll spot the Easter bunny in the orchards of LÁvenir…

The leaves are changing colour, the sun rises later, and it cools down at night.  Autumn is a wonderful time of year to enjoy the colourful scenery in the Winelands.

Always a special trail running experience in the Stellenbosch area and this event will create more Easter weekend memories!

Everyone gets an Easter Egg!

 VENUE: L’Avenir Wine Farm, on R44 about 8 km from Stellenbosch 

 REGISTRATION:From 07h30 at L'Avenir Wine Estate

 DISTANCES & START TIMES: 6km: 08h35 & 11km: 08h30

 COST:

Pre-entries (closing online Friday 29 March’24)

6km – R155 and 11km – R180 

Kids under the age of 18 pay only R60 pre entry.

Late entries will be taken on event day at an additional fee of R50 if available. NB: Late entry kids under 18 pay the normal late entry fee

Timing by Amarider Trail Tag – available for rent (R20) or to buy (R100).

ROUTE DESCRIPTIONS: 

This is a fast course between the vineyards and orchards with great views and beautiful Wineland scenery. The long routes also use the neighbouring farm of Nooitgedacht terrain, so you’ll get some singletrack in the forest, jeep track through the vineyards and orchards.

Relax on the lawns at the dam after the event and perhaps sip some of the Estate’s Cap Classique.

GENERAL INFO:

Pre-entries will get the discount. Special Easter medal to first 250 entries and other finishers also get a generic Dirtopia medal.  

NO MEDALS FOR ANY LATE ENTRIES.

A refreshment station on both routes will have Powerade, fruit and Coke at the finish for all! Recovery massages available. Sportsmans Warehouse vouchers, wine from L’Avenir and FALKE prizes for the winners are the top three male & females of each distance, as well as in the lucky draw.  There will be coffee, drinks and food for sale. Relax on the lawn with some wine while waiting for the lucky draws!
