3 Day Luxury MTB stage racing experience

The Cape Ultra is a luxurious three day mountain bike stage race that will see you riding the best trails the Western Cape has to offer, but without the crowds. This exclusive mountain biking experience is strictly limited to ten teams (2 riders per team). Stages consist of up to 80% singletrack, much of which is generally closed to the public, and are for the exclusive use of the riders taking part in the event. All stages have been meticulously planned to ensure maximum riding pleasure, while still presenting a proper challenge to both your fitness and technical skills.

When it comes to hospitality, only 5 stars are good enough for our riders. Stages are serviced with 2 or 3 refreshment stations (depending on distance), that will have a great variety of sweat and savoury treats, as well as water and energy drinks. Full bottle service is also provided to all riders, and our team will see to it that your preferred, pre-prepped supplements are delivered to each water station. There will also be professional timekeeping and live rider tracking available throughout the event.

Accommodation throughout the event is all in the lap of 5 star luxury, and the same is true for meals. Complimentary bike wash and lube will also be provided after each stage, as well as free technical assistance (however spare parts, if needed, will need to be paid for). Each rider will also be treated to a 40 minute sports massage at the end of each stage.

Team entry to the 2024 Cape Ultra 3 Day MTB Experience includes:

– Entry into the race including fully serviced refreshment stations on route

- Professional timing and live tracking

– Three nights hotel accommodation (2 Nights Stellenbosch, 1 Night Hermanus)

– All Meals

– 3x 40 minute massage per rider

– 1x Cape Ultra Cycling shirt, 1x Cape Ultra branded cycling bib and 1x Cape Ultra branded t-shirt per rider

– Mechanical support throughout the event (excluding spare parts costs)

– Shuttle from Stellenbosch to Greyton for start of Stage 3

–  Optional shuttle transfer back to Lourensford (if needed)
