The Suzuki Durban Ultra Triathlon, now set for March 2, 2025, on the vibrant Durban Beachfront, promises an exhilarating experience for athletes and spectators alike. This premier event offers 3 exciting races: the Sprint Triathlon, Standard Triathlon, Ultra Triathlon. Participants will swim in the warm Indian Ocean, cycle along scenic coastal routes, and run with the waves crashing beside them. Drawing athletes from around the globe, the event celebrates endurance, determination, and sportsmanship. Spectators can enjoy the festive atmosphere, cheering on competitors as they strive for personal glory. This triathlon showcases athletic excellence against the stunning backdrop of Durban's iconic shoreline.
Aquabike out, welcome Standard Tri:
We are excited to now introduce the Standard or Olympic distance triathlon into the 2025 ULTRA Series. Due to numbers, we have decided not to continue the AquaBike event and the popular Standard Triathlon distance race takes it place. (Standard: 1.5km / 40km / 10km)
Sprint Min age: 16 years | Ultra / Standard Min Age: 18 years |
There are different distances from which you can choose from:
- Sprint Individual Triathlon: 600m Swim / 20km Cycle / 5km Run
- Standard Individual Triathlon: 1.5km Swim / 40km Cycle / 10km Run
- Ultra Individual Triathlon: 2km Swim / 80km Cycle / 18km Run
OPENING EARLY BIRD SPECIAL PRICES FROM 15 AUGUST 2024 - 14 October 2024 (only these classes have early bird prices):
- Sprint Individual – R750.00
- Ultra Individual – R2 650.00
STANDARD ENTRY FEES FROM THE 15th October 2024 till closing :
- Sprint Individual – R850.00
- Sprint Indivdual Pensioner's (60 years +) - R700.00
- Standard Triathlon - R1450.00
- Ultra Individual – R3100.00
- Ultra Indivdual Pensioner's (60 years +) - R2400.00
TSA Temporary Licence Fees:
- Sprint Individual - R55.00
- Standard Individual - R134.00
- Ultra Individual - R 167.00
Payment plans longer than 3 months are available with no additional fees.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE ARE NO ADDITIONAL ENTRY PROCESSING FEES, ALL FEES ARE INCLUDED IN YOUR ENTRY FEE.
