The Imbuko Big Five MTB Challenge in partnership with Canetsfontein will test riders over 80km and 3 000m of climbing. The route is aimed to be the perfect preparation for the 2024 ABSA Cape Epic.
PLEASE NOTE: E-bikes are not allowed on this event.
Starting (at 6h30) and finishing at Imbuko Family Wines outside Wellington, riders will be treated to some amazing mountain biking on the world-renowned trails of Wellington's Wild Boar Trails (and some other sections not normally used!). The infamous Cliffhanger trail will test your single track climbing and descending skills and will reward you with one of the most beautiful 360 views of the Hawekwa Mountains.
ONE bunch start at 6h30.

Wednesday 14 February 2024: Cape Union Mart Somerset Mall, Somerset West - 12h00 until 14h00.
Thursday 15 February 2024: Cape Union Mart Shop, Adventure Centre, outside Canal Walk - 13h00 until 19h00.
Friday 16 February 2024: Imbuko Family Wines - 9h00 until 19h00.
Saturday 17 February 2024: 5h30 onwards.
