ROUTE DESCRIPTION:

5KM FUN RUN / WALK / CYCLE

PLEASE ENTER FOR THE 5KM AT VENUE

The 5 km will be a fun ride, where you can enter on the morning of the event. This ride is for everyone who wants to take it easy and wants to enjoy the day out. Children can come and ride if the parents are doing the 65/40 or 20 km or parents can ride with their children.

10KM TRAIL RUN

If you are more of a trail runner then you don’t have to feel left out, we also have the perfect event for you. Come join us for a fun day out and choose between a 5 km or 10 km trail run. We encourage everyone to run/walk with us and witness some special scenery and amazing routes.

40KM / 20KM / 10KM MTB RACE:

You will also have the full experience of the amazing scenery and wildlife that South Africa has to offer. Here the 40 & 20 km will also mostly consist of gravel road and at some point encounter the koppie, but will also have the advantages of riding alongside the natural dams and bird species where South African Fish Eagles as well as other species have been spotted. If you are also looking for a bit of a challenge but don’t want to enter the full 65 km, then the 40 km distance is perfect for you. If you are looking for a family outing or for the whole family to come out and explore Thabazimbi’s bushveld and scenery, then the 20 km is for you.

65KM MTB RACE:

GENERAL RACE INFO:

All riders (40km & 65km) must have a valid license.
A day license must be purchased for R50 if you do not have one.
All riders must wear protective headgear AT ALL TIMES.
Failure may result in disqualification and or penalty.
Online entries are open and close, 6 September 2023.
All CSA rules apply. Please go to www.cyclingsa.com to update yourself. Ignorance of any rule will not be accepted as an excuse for any transgression.
All announcements and instructions made on Race day by the race director are binding.
All queries regarding the results must be lodged with the time keepers within 30min after results are made available on race day.
The Venue, Trail operators, Employees and Companies involved can not be held liable for any Injury, Sickness, Theft or Loss occurred before, during or after entering the Venue.
