Charities

Recce Raid supports two charities, namely the Special Forces Association of South Africa (SASFA) and Epilepsy South Africa (ESA).

A percentage of all entry fees goes to the SASFA fund that supports ex-Special Forces soldiers that does not have the ability to look after themselves or their families due to injury, illnesses, or other reasons.

Recce Raid makes use of the ESA facilities and staff, and some inhabitants of the institution, in Dullstroom. Recce Raid donors, well-wishers, and participants contributed nearly R40 000 to the institution with Recce Raid 2023, as well as enabling ESA to raise additional funds via their support services on race weekend.
