Don’t miss out on this year’s Top of the Waterberg MTB Challenge event hosted by Lindani Game & Lodges. It is going to be an exciting fun filled day of mountain bike riding in the beautiful Waterberg mountains on Lindani reserve. Riders will have the opportunity to experience riding on Lindani’s wonderful bushveld trails amongst the wildlife. Four routes of differing distances (60km, 35km, 20km, 6km) and difficulty levels have been planned to cater for every level of rider, so bring your family and friends.

Depending on the number of E-Bike entries, the organizers will use their discretion as to whether E-Bikes will start 10min before the start of each distance or together.

Route Description:
Combining some of the best trails on Lindani, this route makes for a challenging yet extremely rewarding ride. Mountains, rivers, savanna plains, Waterberg bush veld, and wildlife, this route has a bit of everything. There are a few short technical sections such as 3 Amp decent that might put your skills to the test. The rugged terrain and punchy climbs makes this route a tad longer than your average 60km.

Route Description
This 35km route is sure to delight. Flowing trails such as Topsy Turvey, Roller Coaster Ravine and Easy Rider, interspersed by farm roads, the odd bit of moderately technical terrain, stunning Waterberg scenery and bushveld make for a challenging and very rewarding ride.

Route Description
A most enjoyable ride through pristine Waterberg bushveld that meanders through a beautiful section of the Melkrivier valley traversing a wide variety of terrain: rivers, rocky outcrops and flowing trails through savanna woodland. The 20km route is mostly non-technical, but there are one or two sections that are mildly technical that can be easily walked if necessary.

6km Fun Ride (All Ages)

Description
This short 5.7km route is a super fun non-technical ride. Riding through beautiful Waterberg bushveld, it includes two bridge crossings over the Melkrivier. After crossing the river for the first time by the flat rocks, riders will follow a farm road, before being rewarded with a fun flowing trail through an open field that includes a few berms. The trail comes to an end with a right turn - back onto the road, across the bridge over the Melkrivier and back to the start - finish.
