2023 TINMAN JOBURG SERIES

The 2023 Joburg TINMAN Series is has moved to PRIME VIEW! (https://prime-view.co.za/) 

The FINAL and last race in the 2023 series will take place at Cradle Moon on the 3^rd of December. This event will ONLY stage the 3 Triathlon events (Individual’s only) 

It will be the END OF YEAR PARTY RACE race, dress up’s are encouraged and there will be a festive spirit in the air with prizes for best dressed!  

RACE DATES: 

• 12^th FEB – PRIME VIEW
• 2^nd APRIL – PRIME VIEW
• 29^th OCTOBER – PRIME VIEW
• 3^rd DECEMBER – CRADLE MOON (SERIES FINAL)

The TinMan series is the oldest running triathlon series in South Africa, having started in Durban in 1999. Now a national Series, with events in Joburg, the Cape and KZN, this is one Series you can’t miss out on. The National Tinman Series is a popular family orientated series that includes 3 Triathlon events on the day as well as a 10km running race and a Duathlon (Run / Cycle / Run)

Events (except the final):

• 10km Run (12yrs up) 
• Mini Tri (200m Swim / 5km Cycle / 2.5km Run) 8yrs up. 
• Sprint Tri (600m Swim / 20km Cycle / 5km Run) 15yrs up. 
• Sprint RELAY TEAM (600m Swim / 20km Cycle / 5km Run)
• Challenge Tri (1.2km Swim / 30km Cycle  / 10km Run) 17yrs up. 
• Challenge RELAY TEAM (1.2km Swim / 30km Cycle / 10km Run) - 3.5hr cut off
• Challenge Duathlon (10km Run / 30km Cycle / 5km Run) 17yrs up - 3.5hr cut off

Registration Venue: Prime View Adventure and Leisure (https://prime-view.co.za/)

Registration Times: 

• 10km Run Challenge Duathlon & Challenge Tri:  5:45am to 7am
• Sprint Tri: 6:30am to 7:30am 
• Mini Tri: 6:30am to 7:30am 

Bike Racking will be at the same time as registration. Once you register, you enter the transition directly from registration - secure area. 

START TIMES:

• 7am: 10km Run & Challenge Triathlon & Duathlon
• 7:40am: Sprint Triathlon
• 8:15am: Mini Triathlon

Entry Fees: 

• 10km Run: R150.00 
• Mini Tri: R300.00 
• Sprint Tri: R530.00
• Sprint Relay Team of 2: R275.00 (pp.)  / of 3: R190.00 (p.p.)
• Challenge Tri: R650.00
• Challenge Relay Team of 2 R340.00 (pp.)  / of 3: R230.00 (p.p.)
• Challenge Duathlon: R580.00

Also included is an awesome safe fun family event, Finishers medals or similar and an ice cold aQuelle as well as Lucky draw prizes and Winners prizes. 

CYCLING will be on the road

RUNNING will be Offroad on Gravel roads. 

Road Bikes and MTB Bikes only allowed. (Draft legal event) 

ENTRIES CLOSE THE WEDNESDAY NIGHT BEFORE EACH EVENT.
