REGISTRATION FOR ALL 4 DISTANCES WILL BE IN THE AFTERNOON ON FRIDAY 28 JULY 2023 FROM 13:00 TO 21:00 OR ON SATURDAY MORNING BETWEEN 05h00 AND 07h00 (100miler/60miler/25miler ONLY)
ONLINE ENTRIES WILL CLOSE ON SUNDAY 16 JULY 2023 AT MIDNIGHT
GOODIEBAGS FOR ALL RIDERS
THE RACE BRIEFING WILL BE AT THE START LINE 15min BEFORE THE RACE START.
ALL FINISHERS WILL RECEIVE A RACE MEDAL AND A FINISH LINE HAMBURGER.
SUPPORT BOXES MUST BE HANDED IN BY 6H30 ON SATURDAY 29 JULY 2023.
PRIZE-GIVING WILL BE AT 15:00 ON SATURDAY

All 4 races will start and finish at the Swellendam Showgrounds.

IMPORTANT TIMES:
200 Miler Riders (321km) will leave Swellendam at 21:00 on Friday evening.
- Support boxes to be handed in by 20:00 on Friday. (1 hours before start)
Support boxes to be collected from 18h00 Saturday afternoon
Cut off time at the ferry (223km) 17h00 avg speed 13.2km/h
Finish Line cut-off will be at 00h00 Saturday evening. (24hours)
100 Miler Riders (160km) will leave Swellendam at 07:00
Support boxes to be handed in by 06h30 on raceday.
Collect boxes from 15h00 after the race.
Ferry cut off time at 100km 13h30 avg speed 15.4km/h
Finish Line cut-off will be at 18h00 (11hours)
60Miler Riders (97km) will leave Swellendam at 07:30
No support boxes allowed
Ferry cut off time at 13h30
Finish Line cut-off will be at 18h00 (11hours)
25Miler Riders (40km) will leave Swellendam at 08:00
Unfortunately NO support boxes
You will have 45 minutes to eat and cross the river.
Any minutes more than 45 spent in the Malagas Neutral zone will be added to your race time.
200 Miler, 100 Miler and 60 Miler routes is Cyclo Cross/Gravel Bike/E-bike Friendly.
Please note this is an outdoor MTB gravel-road race.
Please come prepared for all weather conditions.
It can be nice and sunny, but also rainy and muddy.
There will be a Support point for the at Malagas on the Western side of the Breede river just before you cross the FERRY.
This will be a Neutral zone for Riders to enter for no longer than 45 minutes. After 45 minutes race timing will automatically continue
No supporter vehicles to cross the ferry.
ACCOMMODATION
TENT VILLAGE AT SWELLENDAM SHOWGROUNDS:
You can book a 3x3m tent with 2x Stretchers, 2x Mattresses, Bedside Table, 2x Chairs, in the tent village at the Swellendam Showgrounds.
No electricity or bedding provided - please bring your own.
R800 for one night - Friday or Saturday
R1000 for two nights - Friday and Saturday
Parking and ablutions available at the Showgrounds.
