Important Information:

- Registration and late line entries will be open from 06:15am -8:00am. 

- This event is a time trial format. (First Come, first serve format.)

- Start will be at The Outpost Dullstroom, Game Gate / Venue gate and Finish after The Outpost Dullstroom rugby field.

- Remember you will first need to register at The Outpost Dullstroom's Venue on arrival from 06:15am. After you have registered drive to the Game Gate.

- We suggest that you park your car at the rugby field.

- Your race start at 09:00.

- Please make sure that your cycling gear is at (Transition 1) before your start, if you entered as an individual.

To arrange a paddock/stable for your horse please email us at [email protected]. Stables must be arranged in advanced. 

The Venue, Trail operators, Employees and Companies involved will not be held liable for any injury, sickness, theft or loss occurred before, during or after entering the Venue 

Triathlon will consist of:

Run:

- Run 5 Km on gravel Trail

- Please follow the strings on the run route  

Bike:

- Bike 10 Km MTB off road

- Please follow the signs on the bike route.

- You will finish at The Outpost Dullstroom Venue for your final discipline of the triathlon.

Horse-riding:

- Horse-riding 15km off road

- Please follow the signs on the horse route.

- Finish at The Outpost Dullstroom Venue and collect your race goodie bag.

Prize giving: 

-    Prize giving will take place after the main event (Steve Hofmeyr). 

Your Entry Includes: 

- Access to the Oppi-Plaas Festival

Triathlon Rules

• Athletes who litter on the trails or race will immediately be disqualified.
• Good sportsmanship which means no pushing, shoving or swearing towards anyone on the trails and at the race;
• Organiser's decision is final;
• Any appeals must be in writing and will require proof of a GPS file which will be checked on the day;
• Participants shall behave politely towards each other, all race staff, land owners, marshalls, medics and everyone involved, and abide by the organiser's guidance and instructions.
• Athletes that are slower and that are being passed, must make way to the left. When overtaking another runner/walker it must be done 2 meters on the right-hand side.
• Athletes under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
