The 3rd edition of the Bergplaas MTB and Trail Run Challenge, will take place on Saturday, 15 April 2023, at Beyond the Moon , Hoekwil.
The event form part of the Eden XCM League and thus participants that want to be considered for the League, please ensure that you abide to the distance allocation for the categories. If you are not part of the league, just ensure that you are older than the minimum age for the distance and select the "Open" category.
We are a CSA sanctioned event and riders must therefore either have a current CSA Membership or License - if not you need to purchase a Temp Day License.

Beyond the Moon Guest Farm
Share the serenity of this tranquil, 24-hectare piece of heaven nestling in the foothills of the neatly-brushed, lush green Outeniqua Mountains, just 15 minutes from the beaches of Wilderness. This is a precious little place of sanctuary that is something quite unique. Almost ‘otherworldly’, you might say … Which is why we like to call it: “Beyond the Moon.”
Escape the world and travel Beyond the Moon. Take some time to renew, rejuvenate, recover and get back in touch with yourself and your loved ones.
ACCOMMODATION
Beyond the Moon is home to six self-catering cottages, each one as individual and out of this world as can be. A maximum of 34 guests can be accommodated. Contact Sandra to book - 0665077606.
Bike Service Station / Bike Wash
Cycle Worx Sedgefield will have a bike service station, as well as bike wash after your race. All proceeds to go to a local charity. R20 per bike wash, but you can donate more if you want to. Please support their initiative!
