Nestled within a natural amphitheater shaped by the vertical cliffs of the spectacular Simonsberg Mountain, lies Vrede en Lust Estate – home to the wines produced and bottled by the Buys-family.

On the 29th of October 2022 the farm will be hosting their seventh annual Pink Xtreme Trail Run to help raise funds for CANSA during Cancer Awareness month.

Last year we were able to raise R170 000 for CANSA and this year we hope increase that number with at least R20 000.

Runners on the 21km and 10km trail will run a challenging but beautiful trail through the old forestry towards the mountain with some of the most spectacular views on offer in the Paarl / Franschoek region.

The 5km route will meander through the vineyards at Vrede and Lust. 

You are welcome to walk the 5km and 10km route but please do not walk the 21km's.

The Lust restaurant under new management by Ed Saunders will make sure that great meals are served. The stunning wines of Vrede en Lust will again be on offer as well as other refreshments such as beer and cooldrinks.

Please join us on this day at one of the most fun day's out on the trails that you can have while supporting a great cause.

Runners will be able to register on the Friday afternoon before the event at the Lust Restaurant at Vrede and Lust from 2pm.

The 1st 200 entries will receive a goody bag.

Medals for all finishers.

Timing will be done with Webscorer.

Registration will open at 6:00.
