Greyt Middelplaas Escape returns to a 1 Day MTB Race at Middelplaas later in June
Rolling with punches in the current economic environment, and after careful consideration and liaison with relevant parties, we decided to change the format, and postpone the date for the Greyt Middelplaas Escape, to the 25thof June 2022.
By doing so, we are giving the opportunity to a larger field of riders, to enter for a one (1) day MTB event. Instead of a two day MTB stage race, the Greyt Middelplaas Escape will revert back to the One Day MTB race, but with two punchy distances to choose from.
The One Day event will start and finish at Middelplaas farm, and entrants can choose between a 60km and a 40km distance. By consolidating the event, the route will include only the best of the trails in the Riviersonderend mountain range, and included in the Cape Epic in March this year.

This event supports team entries for certain classes, but teams must consist of 2 participants per team.
