Whether a novice trail runner or an experienced adventure enthusiast, we have 2 route options available for all fitness levels.  Plus a delicious breakfast bun included in your entry and fantastic lucky draw prizes.

Routes

A short 5km around the dam and loop down through the vineyards with a max elevation of 110m. Perfect for families and walkers. 

Our long 10km is great for intermediate runners, taking you around the dam and over the rise to some single track which wraps back around and down through the vineyards and back up to the finish with a max elevation of 200m. 

Grab your breakfast bun at Mariella's Restaurant when you finish. Wristband presented to collect.

Registration:

- from 8:00am (at Capaia)

- Collect your race wristband & timing chip

- Please wear a mask at registration 

- Vehicle keys can be handed in for safe keeping (while you race)

Race start times:

8:30 - 10km

8:35 - 5km

Medals and prizes to podium finishers in all distances

Online Pre-Entries open till Tues, 25 April 12:00 (or until sold out)

- Late entries exclude breakfast bun and to be paid CASH ONLY

- Card facilities available but reception is not good therefore we cannot guarantee payment will go through

Timing Chip

The event will be timed by our mobii timing system. Timing wristbands will be handed to each entrant at registration (included in your entry) however these need to be handed back at the finish line. All runners start times are pre-programmed so you only need to tap the timing pod at the finish line to record your time. Results will be emailed 1-2 days after the event. 

Important: Should your timing wristband not be handed back after the event, there will be a cost of R200

Covid-19 regulations

You enter this event at your own risk. Kindly note that by attending this event you agree that you are symptom free and have not been in contact with anyone who is Covid positive in the last 14 days. Masks are to be worn at all times before and after the race. They may be removed when you are running or eating. Dragonfly Tri and Capaia Wines will not be held responsible should you contract Covid at this event.

Refund Policy

No refunds. 

We would only transfer your entry to a later date should the current Covid lockdown level change without prior notice and prohibit this event from going ahead.
