This family-friendly Trail and MTB event showcases the unique beauty of the wine lands and is recognized for its great vibe as well as top routes & trails which come highly recommended by riders & runners.
This year we are doing things a bit differently, we are going back to basics. Stripping away all the fuss to focus on mountain bike cycling at its best – raw, sweat and nature. Starting and ending at Van Loveren, the three trails vary in technicality and offer riders of all fitness levels a great workout.

From 12-Sep-2022 - Cycling shirt pre-orders will be closed, but there will still be some stock to purchase on the day of the event @ R550 each

Get your entry in early!: MTB & Trail Run Entries Close 22:00, Wednesday 28th September 2022, Please Note: Online Pre-entries ONLY: ENTRIES CLOSE WED 28th September 2022 at 22:00 - NO late entries at the venue
Race Numbers can be collected on the 30th Sep 2022 at the Van Loveren tasting room between 14:00 and 18:00 or on the day of the event, 1 hour before your race starts.

Timing and Race Number Boards
Timing will be conducted by Great-Time. Participants will be issued with a returnable JAVA specific race number. Race numbers must be returned at the end of the race. All events (MTB & Trail) will be timed.

The 65km is a gruelling route for the adrenalin seekers. The 1400m elevation will excite even the most seasoned rider and is perfect training for the upcoming Wines2Whales and To Hell and Back MTB events. |
