Teemaneng Running Club is hosting the second edition of the Phakamile Mabija Human Rights Half Marathon in a hybrid (physical and virtual) form on the 20-21 of March 2022 in honor of the icon anti-Apartheid activist, Phakamile Mabija who was born in Kimberley, Northern Cape.
The physical race will be made up of the 5km fun run which does not require a temporary license and the 10km and 21.1km races where only 2022 licenses are allowed or alternatively temporary licenses can be purchased at an additional fee of R50; while the virtual race will accommodate 5km, 10km and 21.1km distances not limited to licensed runners. Teemaneng Running Club looks forward to physically and virtually hosting all the participants who will be taking part in the different distances- 5km, 10km and 21.1km.
All Athletes to adhere to the South African Level 1 Lockdown Rules and regulations.
Entry Fees:
Physical race: 5km license not required (R70); 10km (R150); 21.1km (R190) (only 2022 license allowed or alternatively temporary license can be purchased at an additional fee of R50)
Virtual race: 5km (R50); 10km (R80); 21.1km (R120) (license not required)
