2022 TINMAN JOBURG SERIES ENTRY (4 Events) 

Believe it or not, SA’s oldest Triathlon Series, the TINMAN Series is now in Joburg! Join us on the 13^th March for the first TinMan Joburg Event at Buffelspoort Dam. Make sure you bring the whole family for an epic day out!

The TinMan Series is perfect for those who like to keep moving and it’s the oldest the biggest family Tri-Series in South Africa. The series was started in 1999 and has become very popular nationally and a household name to many athletes. 

The TinMan series is a fun, family orientated series that includes multiple events during a calendar year, all of them taking place at the same venue, utilising safe roads and flat running routes. The Tinman Series is a popular family orientated series that includes 3 Triathlon events on the day as well as a separate 10km running race and a duathlon. 

Come join us for this ultimate family multisport event in 2022, enter the first one and watch how your fitness and racing improves during the year!  

SERIES ENTRY Events:

• 10km Run (12yrs up) 
• Mini Tri (200m Swim / 5km Cycle / 2.5km Run) 8yrs up. 
• Sprint Tri (600m Swim / 20km Cycle / 5km Run) 16yrs up. 
• Challenge Tri (1.2km Swim / 30km Cycle / 10km Run) 17yrs up. 

Registration Venue: Buffelspoort Dam

The Cycle is a road cycle and the Run is on dirt roads. The Bike course will be an out and back. The Run course will be laps for the longer distances. 

4 EVENT DEAL Option (CLOSING ON 9th March @ MIDNIGHT)

Enter all 4 x 2022 events and only pay for 4 events. 

(Available for events: 10km Run, Mini Tri, Sprint Tri & Challenge Individuals only)

Limited entries available, Series deal will end when full. Entries are not transferrable to other events or athletes. 

You can upgrade at anytime or for any event, you just pay the difference between the event you entered and the event you would like to compete in. 

ENTER & SAVE: 

• Mini: R240 Per event / Save R100.00 – 4 Entries for R860.00 
• 10km RUN: R140 Per event / Save R60.00 – 4 Entries for R500.00 (No Lic required) 
• Sprint: R500 Per event / Save R150.00 – 4 Entries for R1850.00
• Challenge Tri: R590 per event / Save R230.00 – 4 Entries for R2100.00

Prices exclude TSA TEMP LIC = R175.00 (R5 x R35.00)

Very Important information:

• Each competitor must download and print a COVID health form HEREto hand in at registration. 
• FINAL Race Instructions will be emailed on the Friday before each event. 
• This event is DRAFT LEGAL. 
• Athletes need to sanitize and have their temperature checked as they enter the venue (Stations to be provided)
• Athletes need to wear a mask until they walk down to the swim start and reapply once finished.
• Athletes will be set off in mass wave starts
• Team entries are allowed
• Staff and officials will be kept to a minimum to comply with regulations.
• Water tables will be self-service (32Gi Sachets and water Sachets provided)
• All competitors will receive and ice-cold aQuellé at the finish line and a finishers keyring or medal at the finish. 
• Due to the ever-growing pollution of our planet, our race numbers are recycled and reused. Please remember to hand them in at the finish line to receive your medal.
