Saturday, 30 April | 35km

You’ll enter the trail network at The Village and be treated to the opportunity to ride a portion of the trail network in reverse, as you negotiate River Radness up towards the forests.

Once you are back on the usual Blue/Red route, we will send you up a brand new Black Route climb – a tough grind over Kleinbergie with some tricky switchbacks (Puff Puff Daddy on Strava) to bring you to Bosman Wines. You will work your way around De Bos Dam with the Black Route, but with a few extra turns and twists until you reach Hasher Family Estate.

From here is almost all downhill as you will be treated to riding the Onrus River Gorge in reverse – a route usually only available for the Wines 2 Whales, before making your way back down from Die Plaaskombuis along River Radness, and back the same way you came towards the race finish

Sunday, 1 May | 33km

Though a little shorter than Saturday's route, Sunday's is slightly more technical with more single track to negotiate. We have added some sections usually off limits to events to keep it interesting in the forests, and have even incorporated the Inyoka Climb - part of the H&A Trail Park.

You will again be challenged by the Kleinbergie over to Bosman Wines, building off knowledge gained on Day 1 to negotiate those technical sections. From Bosman we will take you over the De Bos Dam wall and up the road before once again entering the descent down The Gorge towards River Radness, where once again you might find a slight change in the usual route with something different.

Once you've exited the trails at The Village, you will be taken back the same way as you came, back to the race finish
