Update on 7 Dec 2021 - The Lomond Triathlon is on! Enter now.

The 5th annual Lomond Triathlon promises to be the best one yet with lots of triathletes and outdoor enthusiasts hungry for action. The triathlon season is shorter but be sure to end the year in spectacular fashion by swimming in the beautiful Lomond dam, riding between the fynbos of the Walkerbay Conservancy and running around the vineyards of the Lomond Wine Estate. We cannot wait to welcome you to this amazing venue...

Once again the event will have 2 distances, a long and short course, and you can choose to do it all or as part of a team of 2 or 3. The Kids Event in association with Orca will also be a highlight for all the youngsters. The Lomond Triathlon is truly an event for the whole family, so bring them along to take part or for support. Parking is close to the venue and lots will be on offer to entertain everyone. Live entertainment and various food stalls will round off the day, along with all the famous Lomond wines.

After-Party - join us under the Milkwoods for the after-party of the year. Saturday evening from 18:00. It includes music, cash bar and a meal. Book your spot when you enter.

There are lots of accommodation options close to the farm or in the nearby towns of Franskraal, Gansbaai and Stanford. For more information on these, visit our webpage.

* IMPORTANT: 

Entries close on 8 December 2021. No entries at the venue or registration. 

Similar to last year, we will refund 80% of your entry fee or transfer to 2022 should the event be cancelled due to COVID-19.

Routes:

The routes will be the same as previous years. We aim to cater for all abilities.

Distances:

FULL – 1000m Swim, 28km MTB, 12km Trail Run (Wetsuit allowed)

SPRINT – 500m Swim, 15km MTB, 5km Trail Run (Wetsuit allowed) 

KIDS – 6-8 years: 50m Swim, 1.5km MTB, 500m Trail Run (Parent allowed)

KIDS – 9-11 years: 100m Swim, 5km MTB, 2km Trail Run (Parent allowed)

KIDS – 12-14 years: 200m Swim, 10km MTB, 3km Trail Run (Parent allowed)

09:00 – SPRINT – SOLO – R595

09:00 – SPRINT – TEAM – R750

11:30 – All KIDS races – R100-R150 (Parents encouraged to join)

All swimmers need to wear a brightly coloured Swimming Cap. These will be provided by the organisers.

T&C’s:

* IMPORTANT: For peace of mind, should the event be cancelled due to Covid-19 measures, you will have the option to either transfer your entry to 2022 or receive a refund of 80% of your entry fee.

* Upgrades/downgrades can be done on the day. No partial refunds for downgrades. The difference in price needs to be paid for the upgrade.

* Substitutions allowed for R50 at registration.
