Pursuit Challenge is back! In light of all the events cancelled throughout the Covid-19 pandemic and stricter lockdown, Pursuit Challenge continues to stay ahead of the game. We’re heading to Buffelsdrift Trail Park from 13-15 August 2021. 

You can pick any day to complete the challenge between the 3-day period. Start times are from 07h00 - 11h00, daily. This challenge is a self-paced event, you need to bring your own nutrition and hydration to the challenge. 

Timing: 

The event will be timed. Please bring along any SAS timing board. 

Also for backup timing, please follow the steps to our Strava group: 

• Join our Strava group - @PursuitChallengeMTB 

• Submit your ride. Make sure your profile is public and not private.

• Live results on the website within 24 hours on the leaderboard.

• Winners announced on the Monday after the event.  Winners will each receive a voucher code for cool prizes from Sox Footwear.

GPS files are available for download to all participants the week of the event, but the routes are well marked.  

What does my entry include?

• Goody bags with socks, nutrition, and vouchers. Collect at the start

• Two unique marked routes. Full distance (54km) and a half distance (21km).

About the event

Pursuit Challenge is a series of timed challenges, we set a date and location for each course that challengers can take part in. Each challenger decides their own starting time, pace and strategy. A leaderboard is hosted on our website with prize money and prizes up for grabs in each winner’s nominated category.
