Come capture the spirit of Africa at Cradle Moon Lake Side Game Lodge. Set within the 1500-hectare Cradle Moon Conservancy, only a 35-minute drive from both Sandton and Pretoria.
We can offer a secure and pristine natural experience for both young and old as well as both the ultimate athletes and those just seeking a breath of fresh air. We are concentrating on restoring the indigenous fauna and flora to re-establish the natural Highveld biodiversity, this is our primary focus and we ask all athletes to respect the natural habitat.

Online Entries:
 Bookings will take place on a first serve basis
Start time at 07H00 – 12H00 in one-minute intervals. 

• When to Arrive: To avoid gatherings please do not arrive too soon, or too late. Arrive anytime within your hour. 1-minute intervals between each runner.
• Participants will be notified via email their start times on Wednesday 5 August.
• Number Collection: Once you have arrived within your time slot to register and cycle.
• Timing Chips: We have moved over to permanent timing chips, thus every person will have to buy an adjustable chip enabled wrist band at R100 each. 

Routes: With 4 distances to choose from and with varied terrain from forests to mountains, as well as being home to over 20 species of wild animals, including Rhino, Leopard, Eland, Kudu, Red Hartebeest, Black Wildebeest, Blue Wildebeest, Zebra, Duiker, Impala, Springbuck, Brown Hyena, Jackal and Aardwolf, , we are able to guarantee a secure and special experience for every level of athlete.

Routes

42Km

This is not for the faint-hearted. It is technical and challenging.

The route features technical climbs and steep descends, forest sections and beautiful open savannah stretches.

23Km

The race features extra river frontage, multiple forests, and rocky sections. 

The route winds away from the lake in the direction of Beyers Naude Drive, before heading back down to the new “Spookhuis” section.

14Km

Fast-flowing tracks early into the route serve as the perfect way to get the blood pumping. This is the base route around the lodge with the best views of the cradle of humankind. Look out for giraffe and zebra on the trail. 

6Km

Non-Technical being for those who want an easier ride. This is the perfect outing for the entire family to enjoy without having to break a sweat.

• Momentum Multiply:As a Momentum Multiply partner, we will submit the results within 48 working hours to Momentum, if you are Momentum Multiply member you will not have to do anything at all.

The Rules and Regulations (Things that might get you disqualified)

• Please don’t gather before and after your cycle
• Please remember to wear your face masks during number collection.
• Sanitiser will be provided.
• Strictly No spectators allowed.
• Please remain 1.5m from each other, on the trails if you pass, indicate to the person in front of you that you are going to pass and do so swiftly and by trying to keep your distance.
• Please note that this is not an organised event nor a race but simply a social trail run that will be timed.
• After your ride you will receive a medal, downloadable certificate and your time will be captured for your health points at Momentum Multiply. The overall top 3 participants by distance and top 1 age category, both for males & females will receive their virtual reward by means of an EFT or physical sponsored item to be collected at our offices or at the next exercise session.
• BoutTime will also track who is still out on the trail & who not.
  Please remember to notify us if you did not complete the whole distance before we send out a search party unnecessary.
