Upgrades, downgrades and substitution changes can only be done during September 2020.

All Entry fees now include the bus ticket.

REFUND POLICY

Many races have been postponed or cancelled and we want to advise all runners committed to our race, in consideration of the Covid-19 Pandemic, we will have a Refund Policy in operation.

FULL ROAD CLOSURE

We thank Mpumalanga Government Sports and Culture for arranging closure of the Kaapsehoop Road for the duration of the Marathon.

MPUMALANGA CULTURAL EXPERIENCE FESTIVAL

We are opening the Mpumalanga Cultural Experience Festival at our race on 7 November and continues until the end of November 2020.

PRIZE MONEY HAS BEEN INCREASED

We have increased our Prize money, bringing it in line with other major races.

COMRADES AND TWO OCEANS QUALIFIER TIMES

QUALIFYING RACES and MAT-to-MAT TIMING

All qualifying races must be run between 24 August 2020 and 1st May 2021. All qualifying races must be ASA technically compliant and meet the Comrades Marathon qualifying criteria. You must submit your provincially approved club name, license number and qualifying race details by no later than 1^st May 2021.

Net time (Mat to Mat) will be accepted, as the race is timed by a reputable timing company using an electronic timing system.

FOREIGN ATHLETES

All foreign athletes must comply with WA (World Athletics) rule 142 and 4.2. Foreign athletes must be able to produce a letter from their respective federation permitting them to participate on race day.

ALL ATHLETES

THE USE OF ANY TYPE OF EARPHONES IS NOT ALLOWED IN THIS RACE AND WILL LEAD TO DISQUALIFICATION.
