Strand Athletics Club is proud to host The Leapfrog 21.1km, and the Labourwise 10km run on 14th April 2018. The Western Province Half Marathon Championship Race , and a Coco-Cola League Event.
This is a must for all runners. Voted the best half marathon of the year in Western Province in 2013, this race promises beautiful beach views, with its fast and flat route overlooking False Bay.
Whether you are a novice, wanting to attempt your first half marathon or 10km, a seasoned runner hoping to run a PB, or a family looking for a great morning out, this race has something for everyone.
Prize money will be up for grabs to the first three athletes in each age category for male and female, as well as medals for all finishers. Goodie Bags will be handed out to the first 2000 finishers, and all participants will be able to enter the lucky draw.
