Important information for this race:

Race number collection:

The event takes place on Saturday 13 October 2018. 

Compulsory race number collection will be from Wednesday to Friday. 

You will receive your race number and EntryNinja wrist timing bands. 

Registration/Race Number Pick-up Times:

• Wednesday 10 October: 12h00 until 18h00 Sportsmans Warehouse - Tygervalley
• Thursday 11 October: 12h00 until 18h00 Sportsmans Warehouse – Tygervalley
• Friday 12 October: 11h00 until 19h00 Faure Stadium Paarl

LATE ENTRIES: CASH ONLY, CAN BE PURCHASED AT REGISTRATION/RACE NUMBER PICK-UP POINTS.

All entrants each receive 2 spectator tickets worth R100-00.

KIDS race: Entries can be done on race day SATURDAY 13 OCTOBER at the venue.

SPECTATOR TICKETS (R50-00 pp) also available on registration days or at the gate, CASH ONLY (kids under 12 go in for FREE)

FINISHER T-shirts available @ R120-00, while stocks last.

(You only receive a FREE t-shirt if you entered and paid before 30 Sept 2018)

FINISHER T-SHIRTS ONLY TO BE WORN AFTER THE RACE.

ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE A FINISHER MEDAL AFTER THE RACE

Finisher T-shirts will be given to the participants at race number collection who have entered and paid before: 

30 September 2018 - 8km

30 September 2018 - 15km

30 September 2018 - 21km 

ONLINE ENTRIES CLOSE: 8 OCTOBER 2018

DISCOVERY VITALITY: 

Vitality members can earn points for the Fisherman's Friend StrongmanRun 2018, (given that it is timed) by logging onto their website www.discovery.co.za or via the Discovery App and claiming points manually for the event.

The points structure is:

·8km = 300 points

·15km = 600 points

·21km = 1 500 points

Participants are each responsible for making sure they receive a working timing wrist band from Entry Ninja when collecting race numbers on the mentioned registration days.

If you already own one, bring it with you.

Event:  Saturday 13 October 2018 – Faure Stadium PAARL

Starting times:

Everyone must be ready 30mins before their race starting time for the warm up

Start times:

-  21km 08h00

- 15km 09h30

- 8km 09h40

- Kids Race from 12h00 – 14h00 

Medical assistance will be available all day during the race.

Race Village:

Parking: Around the stadium, be there early to avoid disappointment

There are port-a-loos / toilets and showers, bring your own towels

Bag drop-off area will be available at the stadium

Food stalls will be available at the race village. Please bring cash (no card facilities are available).  

Kiddies entertainment area

Massages:  There will be a JOINTeeze massage station at the race village. Anyone with a race number qualifies for a 15minute rub.

Hydration Station: There will be hydration stations on the route for participants. Water and coke will be available.
