This year, the Olyfberg Summit Challenge is set to be Bigger & Better than ever! Runners will weave through the boundless olive groves of Olyfberg and be treated to some of the most stunning trail running available in the Robertson valley.
With more than 85% of the 21km route consisting of smooth and inspiriting singletrack, this is a race not to be missed. The 2015 Olyfberg Summit Challenge was featured in TrailMag and acknowledged for its most breath-taking views (just save some breath for the climb)!
The race forms part of the Wacky Wine Weekend so everyone is welcome to join in the festivities. There will be a pram-friendly walking route and we encourage you to stick around and indulge in the farm’s famous olive oil & product tasting with a cellar tour.
This is an event to mark down in your race calendar TODAY!
"Overlooking the Breede Vallei with splendid mountains in the background and rolling hills made me feel somewhat in awe of what was to offer by mother nature. I think every runner that that came to this event probably felt the same!" - Govan Adrian Basson (Totalkoas photography)
