SOX 3 Day Trail Run
SOX Trail Run is known as the most diverse 3-day trail run in South Africa and takes place in the Garden Route
You will run on pristine hiking trails in the mountain on day one, experience the tranquility of our lush, indigenous forest on day two and end off, with day three, along the stunning coastline of the Garden Route.

- Day 1: 30km Mountain Stage single track, in the Outeniqua Mountains
- Day 2: 30km Forest Stage in Knysna

SOX Sport (the same experience with less the distance)
- Day 1: 20km Mountain Stage single track, in the Outeniqua mountains
- Day 2: 25km Forest Stage in Knysna

- Day 1: 13km Mountain Stage single track in the Outeniqua mountains
- Day 2: 9km Forest Stage in Knysna

Please note : At the discretion of Event Organiser and Route Director, routes can be changed at any time due to Covid Regulations or for safety reason.
ENTRY FEE INFORMATION
Payment Plan available:
Pay one third of your total entry with Registration, second payment due 1 March 2024, third payment due 16 July 2024. Please note that first payment is not refundable.
SOX, SOX Sport and SOX Lite Trail run, included in the entry fee:
- 3-day challenge in the unspoilt beauty of the Garden Route. Each day’s route will be unique in that Day 1 will take competitors on a challenging route in the Outeniqua Mountains. Day 2 will be something completely different with spectacular trails through beautiful Forests. Day 3 will conclude with a run along on our spectacular coast line.
- 3 Stages of pure trail running on well-marked routes in pristine areas that are usually not accessible to runners.
- Unforgettable trail running along the scenic Outeniqua mountains and picturesque Wilderness area.
- Finisher Medal.
- Setup of Race Village which will include massages (for booking on your own account)
- Sweeper each day.
- Well stocked water tables each day.
- Sedgefield Brewery Bar where you can buy drinks.
- Lunch for sale at race village for non-competitors each day.
- 24-hour medical & emergency services on standby.
- 24-hour security in the Race Village.

Registration and Late Entries:
Pre-entries for the event will close 25 July 2024. Late entries or entries on the day, will not be accepted. Registration for the event will take place on Thursday, 8 August 2024 from 16:00 – 21:00.
Cancellation / Refund Policy
- No substitutions will be accepted after 31 July 2024. Substitution fee of R 300.00.
- No refunds of your deposit paid or entry fees unless we have to cancel the event due to unforeseen circumstances. In this case your entry will be transferable.
- Entries are not transferable.
- NO EXCEPTIONS (INCLUDING MEDICAL).
This event will take place regardless of bad weather and will only be cancelled, re-routed or stopped for reasons of Safety, Act of Nature or by any reason out of our control. In this event, entry fees are NOT refundable, but will be transferable to a next event.
