BPMS’s 1st virtual run/walk race

Venue: Anywhere! As it is a virtual race you can do it wherever you are ☺ You can also get some families together to make it even more fun!
Distances: 5km, 10km and 21km
We are so excited to launch our very first Virtual Run/Walk race!!! Our classes will compete with each other… The class with the most kilometers completed wins! Kids, Moms, Dads, Aunties, Uncles, Grannies, Grandpas, Distant relatives, friends….. you get our drift…. are welcome to enter, race and represent a specific class!!!
Entries: Enter on this website with the link that is provided. Entries stay open until the event finishes!

Entry Fees:
- 5km – R70
- 10km – R130
- 21km – R200
Entry will include the following:
- Lots of fun
- Live band (Make sure Dad plays some music while you walk/run ☺
- Medical (Mom will have the plasters handy)
- 2 x Waterpoints (Granny will have these ready for you!)
- Great prizes to be won!! This one is for real!

1st Class: Burgers and Civvie day
2nd Class: Ice Cream stall at school and Civvie day
3rd Class: 35 Chocolate Medals and Civvie day

After you have entered and done your 5, 10 or 21 km please email us your results (STRAVA, Screenshot, Stopwatch ect.) to [email protected]

| Route information | A virtual race is a race that can be run (or walked) from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill, at the gym or on the track. You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself. And your medal will be shipped directly to you. Complete a virtual 5K, 10K!
There are no parking problems. No crowds. No long Porta Potty lines. There is no start gun or nervous, pre-race chitchat with other runners.There's not even an official starting line. That's the kind of flexibility offered by virtual races, a new trend in the running community. Runners who sign up for a virtual race register online and simply choose their own starting line, whether it's a treadmill or a neighborhood street. They run the race distance, upload their finishing time and a few days later are mailed a medal. |
