COME JOIN US FOR A WONDERFUL WEEKEND OF ACTIVE COUNTRY FUN. JOIN US RUNNING, RIDING, TRAINING (J) OR BALLOONING…WHATEVER YOU CHOOSE JUST MAKE SURE YOU DONT MISS OUT!

On Saturday you can join Trail Runners & walkers on a 15km route that meanders around Myddleton dam, Forests, and beautiful farmlands. On Sunday you can either run/walk the 18km Trail Run, 7km Fun Run or do the 25km Mountain Bike ride on singletrack, farm roads and cattle tracks along the UMzimkhulu river. Or mix it up with a Run and a Ride by doing the Creighton Crazy Duo!

Creighton Aloe Festival is a wonderful weekend packed full of Country Fun with Steam Train Rides, Hot Air Ballooning,  a Farmers Market, kids play area, Beer & Gin Boma as well as a Tea Garden and Food Stalls! We will also have some live music – sipping on a G & T while the sun sets, can't get any better!!

(Please note extra train excursions can be booked by going to the following website – make sure to book early as these tickets sell out fast! These tickets are sold by a separate organizer and not by the Aloe Festival Organiser)

• Creighton Trail Trot: Sat 15km Trail Run & Sun 20km Trail Run = R950

         (Include Fri dinner, Sat run, Sat Dinner & Entertainment, Sun Run, Event Garment & camping spot for the weekend - bring your own tent & Mattress)

• Creighton Crazy Duo Full: Sat 15km Trail Run & Sun 25km MTB Ride = R1300

        (Include Fri dinner, Sat run, Sat Dinner & Entertainment, Sun MTB, Event Garment & camping spot for the weekend - Includes tent & Mattress for weekend)

Individual Races:

• Saturday Train & 15km Trail Run = R250 (includes train ticket) Entries Limited. Runners and Walkers welcome
• Sunday Train & 20km Trail = R300 (includes train ticket). Entries are Limited.
• Sunday Train & 7km Walk/Run = R150 (includes train ticket). Entries are Limited. Runners and walkers welcome.
• Sunday 25km MTB Ride (no train transport) = R200 Start and Finish at the Creighton Sports Club

Add ons:

• Families/Friends are welcome to join runners/walkers on the train at R100 a ticket. Tickets available for Saturday and Sunday. Please note these tickets are limited and this train ride is 20 – 30min long
• Camping spot = R200 per campsite (max 2 people) for the weekend (Bring own tent & mattress)
• Pre-book dinner tickets: Friday night dinner = R80 / kids R40, Saturday Dinner = R100/ kids R50

REGISTRATION:

Friday 10 July from 15:00 until 19:00 at the Creighton Sports Club Grounds in the Gym – follow the signs

Saturday 11 July from 06:00 until 07:45 at the Creighton Sports Club (Please note the Train for the Trail Run will leave 8 am SHARP!)

Sunday 12 July from 06:00 until 07:45 at the Creighton Sports Club (please note train for the Trail Run will leave 8 am SHARP) Mountain Bikers can register until 08:00.

START TIME:

Saturday 11 July: Train will leave Creighton Train Station 8am SHARP! Please don’t be late as the train run to a schedule so we cannot delay J

Sunday 12 July: 

20km & 7km Trail Run: Train Leaves 8 am SHARP

25km MTB: 08:00 from the Creighton Sports Club

All Races will FINISH at the Creighton Sports Club
