Cool Ideas Trail Run Series
Welcome to the 2-day Trail Running event called The TLC Trail Running Festival, scheduled to take place at Warthogs Bush Camp from Saturday the 14th to Sunday the 15th of March 2020.

You may recall we had to postpone this event to 2020 because of some rather hazardous conditions that were prevalent at the time.
Runners and walkers are both welcome and will have the choice to participate on a day and a distance of their preference from the selection available.
Participate either in one of the 2-day options, or you choose from a number of other distances.
DAY AND DISTANCE OPTIONS
Saturday the 14th March – 6km “Beer” run (Day Run) and/ or a 5km or 10km Night Trail Run
Sunday the 15th of March – 5km, 10km, 16km & 25km
Our trails are exclusive - nobody will get the chance to run on these tracks as the land is privately owned.
The TLC Trail Running Festival offers more serious runners an opportunity to do some good distances, whilst there are lighter races for the weekend Trail Running enthusiast.
Families and friends are also welcome to participate in some of the distances/days and choose to run only on Saturday, or a combination where they run on Saturday and Sunday. The choice is theirs.
To make Sunday a more fun day there is a 5km run or walk for younger or not-so-fit athletes who still want to join in the festival.
And there's more!
International Craft Beer, such as Le Trapp, De Kat, G&T on tap and others will be on offer. There will be massage services, a coffee station, a chill zone and other vendors, making this a special fun-filled weekend.
Bring the whole family - game drives and elephant experiences are also available for non-runners.
Please note: To support wildlife conservation, all athletes, supporters and visitors will have to pay a R50 Reserve Fee on entry (kids under 12 will only pay R20). For all runners, you can pay this online when you enter.
Cost Options
Accommodation available! Make your choice to stay for the weekend, with options ranging from a standard tent with 2 mattresses, or a VIP tent with 2 stretchers, to a slightly more luxurious tent with 2 beds and semi-private ablution facilities. Top of the range are a Bush Camp Lodge, or even a beautiful room at Askari Lodge, right over the road. Check out the camping options for Saturday night.
